A Shakey Week!
March 31, 2014

Well I felt my very first earthquake this week!!! It was sooo cool! We were on the 2nd floor of a house teaching a lesson and everything started shaking and I thought it was just someone downstairs messing around. They said it was an earthquake though and I was just so happy I felt one!

I got sick yesterday and I still feel a little off today but its ok. I hate being sick though.

We had a baptism yesterday as well and it was super cool. Luz and Clara got baptized. They are from Guatemala and it was a fun experience teaching them and we are going to be teaching them some english too when we got the time.

I taught a 4 man lesson with Pritchard, Baltazar, and Higgins this week and it was super cool. We basically share an investigator which is cool!

I turn 21 this week!

We got paid today!

Sister Pierce the mission secretary has a daughter who is diabetic and she gets really concerned about my diabetes so it reminds me of mom. I love Sister Pierce! She is a really cool lady!

I bought Protein today! #swollpatrol

I love all my new shirts! My girlscout cookies are gone already and I am waiting to open my birthday present! Thanks for the package mom!

I passed my drivers test the first try to get a Cali license and I got exactly 6 wrong which was the minimum. I am sooo lucky! I never study!!!!

Well I gotta go but I miss you all! Have a good week!

HEY!
March 24, 2014

Well this week was good. I can't believe I am sitting here again trying to have to write another email because I was just here a couple hours ago last Monday hahaha. I hate time out here! Its going so freaking fast!!

Well yesterday I went back to Hemet for a baptism! It was Marlene, Arlene, and Lizeth that got baptized! It was a cool baptism and it was cool to see everyone in that ward again. I already miss it!

This morning we had a zone activity where we played football, ultimate frisbee, basketball, and messed with a slackline as well (you can look up what a slackline is). We then showered and ate Taco Bell! They have diet Mt.Dew which is sooooo cool! Its like the only taco bell with diet! We gotta go to Walmart and I'm gonna print out pictures and buy some light bulbs cuz they are almost all burnt out in our apartment.

On Saturday we did a ton of service and we were in normal clothes from when we woke up until 6:30 and it felt a little weird but it was super fun.

I don't remember anything else that happened but I keep a good journal so I will find cool stories for you when I get home. We get cussed at a lot though.

I love you guys!

Halfway through the Transfer!
March 17, 2014

Time is flying for me out here! I can't believe it has already been 3 weeks since I got here to Riverside! All I know is time apparently gets faster and faster. It makes me a little nervous and scared but I got lots more to do out here so I can reach my goals. This week went pretty good. Nothing too crazy happened. I don't have a lot to say either.

We got new bus passes

We got haircuts (they are pretty sick too)

We are going shopping today! Maybe I will find another super cool watch! (I am addicted)

I feel like I just sat down and wrote emails like it was yesterday but its already been a week!!

I daydreamed a lot about being home this week and had 2 normal dreams about home as well so I think my body knows its been 19 months already.

I love my mission and I know these last months are going to be awesome!

I gotta go but I miss everyone back home and I hope you enjoy your week!

Hot Week of Biking!
March 10, 2014

This week was pretty good. We have cool people we are teaching and biking destroyed me this week. I hope I get used to it, we just get hot and sweaty and I get tired and then we have to try to teach a lesson and I just want to pass out on the couch! I hope my body gets used to it which would be nice. I think I am losing weight which is cool! I should start weighing myself to see.

Last P-day I cleaned our blackened tub with some magic erasers and its is sparkling white now and I love taking my showers! I love a clean bathroom!

I have nearly wrecked on my bike probally 10 times already so its bound to happen sometime soon!

I am getting good at sewing because my shirts are falling apart and my pants caught in the bike chain once and I had to sew up the hole and re-hem them. Not to brag but I am pretty good at it.

I had a dream last night of coming home. It was weird and i was getting on the computer and stuff and I saw all my family. I woke and and kind of wanted it to be real but 15 minutes later I am back in the missionary mindset.  I do only have about 5 months left which is crazy!

I have to buy myself some food today! I also just got myself a cool cardigan (is that how you spell it). I think my style has changed since before I started my mission so you will all get to see when I get home!

I gotta get going but I will see you guys later! I miss you!

1st week on bike!!!!!
March 3, 2014

Well it was an interesting week! Elder Pritchard and I did a lot of work and we got completely soaked on Friday! We had to change our clothes hahahaa. I wish I had a car! We found a lot of new people that we are teaching so hopefully everything goes good there. It stinks not having your own car to just go wherever you need whenever you want. Elder Pritchard is cool. He is from Temple Texas and has been out for like 4 months. He wants to go play college football and be a kicker which is cool. I have bunk beds too and I have the top bunk! It reminds me of when I was little and Ethan and i had bunk beds! We have our own washer and dryer too which makes things easier. I am still working out and Elder Pritchard worked out so hard this week he literally couldn't bend his arms for like 3 days hahahah.

The area here is cool. Its kinda small but there are a lot of people to talk to and lots to teach. We have to keep working hard and I know we will have a couple baptisms this month! This could easily be my last area and I want to make sure I work just as hard if not harder compared to my last areas.

My old area  that I served in when I was with Elder Harris and Elder Laparra borders the area I have now which is cool because I am seeing a lot of familiar things. Hopefully I will be able to get to know the area fast too so then it will be a lot easier setting up lessons and everything.

I don't have much left to say but I love you all and I hope you have a great week!
